是有点晚了哦，孩子的阅读习惯是需要从小培养的。其实是需要从0岁就开始培养了，只是说不同的年龄，阅读的方法和内容有区别。而且双语的学习，如果是希望孩子将来真能运用这门外语，而不只是应付考试的话，也是需要从小侵入的。
双语思维在孩子六岁以前是较好建立的，如果孩子的母语思维习惯已经相当牢固，也是爸爸妈妈说的，孩子的母语表达能力已经很强之后再学习英文的话，孩子会面临一个关卡，就是母语意识建立的关卡。也就是有可能母语会对孩子学习英文照成较大的阻力，同时，孩子有可能就像爸爸妈妈一样是翻译式的英语表达习惯，对孩子来说是不利的。
所以孩子阅读也好，英文学习也好，或者说是体验式的英文少儿阅读，也是需要从小接触的。
但是说，3年级相对有点晚，太晚不至于。
阅读永远都没有太晚一说了。
希望对你有帮助，另外如果是需要借阅原版的英文儿童分年龄绘本，可以到就近的儿童图书馆或者励步国际儿童教育的图书馆借阅。孩子的书，尤其是原版的儿童绘本没有必要自行购买。爸爸妈妈有空和孩子一起享受阅读的乐趣，也是非常指的推崇的。
